The Triple Win Community Solar Campaign ran from June through August 2021. Thank you to everyone who participated!
In 2019, Sustainable Warwick partnered with a community solar company. We helped 16 people get signed up for community solar and were rewarded with generous checks for referral bonuses. But community solar is not just for tree huggers! In 2021, we launched the Triple Win campaign to encourage everyone throughout Warwick to take advantage of community solar. Instead of using the Triple Win campaign to raise money for our own projects, we connected with six diverse nonprofits from Warwick and helped them create affiliations with two community solar companies, Solstice and Astral Power.
You might think the community solar deal for consumers is too good to be true. You can get up to 10% off your electric bill, but you don’t need any equipment installed at your home and there are:
No sign-up fees
No monthly or other service fees
No cancellation fees
